Who I am

With over a decade of experience in the veterinary and shelter industry, I have a proven track record of driving operational excellence, revenue growth, and team development.

  • As Chief Operating Officer at Fear Free, LLC., I led initiatives that increased revenue year-over-year, implemented and increased employee satisfaction programs, and strengthened the organization's value proposition. I also restructured revenue-generating programs to improve efficiency and profitability, while leading cultural transformations focused on accountability and growth.

  • At the Dumb Friends League, I oversaw veterinary services across multiple facilities and programs to ensure success, fostered team development, and contributed to the creation of the organization's strategic plan. I managed vendor contracts, improved budget adherence, and supported high-impact casework in collaboration with animal control.

  • As Hospital Director at the Richmond SPCA, I successfully led the opening of a new veterinary hospital, which was one of the first focused on access to care in the country. I implemented operational changes that improved client satisfaction and service delivery.

Throughout my career, I’ve focused on building strong teams, ensuring financial sustainability, and driving organizational growth—all while maintaining a commitment to high-quality care and community impact.

I am based in Colorado so I like to spend all of my free time outside and with my pets. I’m an avid reader of fiction and a world traveler.

Why is the business referred to as both "Coaching & Consulting with Tori" and "Lemonade Coaching & Consulting, LLC"?

I understand this might cause some confusion, and that wasn’t my intention. When I first started my business, I named it after my beloved "soul dog," Lemon. She had a profound impact on my life, and I wanted to find a way to honor her memory. Her name came from the time she spent at the shelter—she was returned for being “just that,” but I saw it as a label of love.

When I first brought Lemon home, she was terrified, scarred, and wouldn’t even look at me. But through patience, trust-building, and meeting her where she was, we formed an inseparable bond. We became outdoor adventurers together—hiking, camping, and enjoying countless hours on patios.

When Lemon passed unexpectedly, it was a wake-up call. She taught me that life is short and that we should pursue what we truly love.

In a way, my business is a reflection of that lesson. I want to share my passion for creating meaningful, fulfilling work experiences for others. I strive to help individuals and organizations build environments where everyone can thrive—where we embrace the same trust, patience, and connection that we see in our relationships with our pets. It’s about bringing those life lessons into the workplace to foster collaboration, growth, and joy.

So, whether you know my business as Coaching & Consulting with Tori or Lemonade Coaching & Consulting, LLC, they both come from the same place—a desire to make work more meaningful and fulfilling for everyone involved.
